Jones Senior High School received the education-based athletics grant for the 2019-2020 school year. Grant funds were used to pay for all head coaches to obtain their Accredited Interscholastic Certification (AIC) and/or Certified Interscholastic Certification (CIC) through the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS).

These certifications aimed to grow and develop coaches to improve their student-athlete’s lives amid the pandemic and beyond. In the 2020-2021 school year, Jones Senior High School received its Level 3 accreditation from the NFHS.
